every now and then Chantel at treasured gives me a pack of things to play with... somethings are perfect for me and then somethings get me outside my scrapping box.. this time i got a set of K& co Lifes Journey Adhesive CD Envelopes... why they made them adhesive is just beyond me - they would be so much more usable without the adhesive strip...
anyways, some thinking later and here's what i did with them... (more piccies here)
Sibling Joy: each envelope contains words of wisdon on sisterhood & sibling frustrations.
Supplies: K&Co Lifes Journey CD Envelopes, K&Co lifes Journey Stamp collage paper, Black Cardstock, Black Inkpad, Prima Flower & ribbon and some velvet ribbon & Kaiser Craft Pearls. used a crop-a-dile to punch the holes and WRMC eyelets to secure.
letter to my girls (letter is in the envelope)
supplies: K&Co Lifes Journey CD Envelope, K&Co lifes Journey Stamp collage paper, Dream Street Papers Art Nouveau Avant Garde, Dream Street Papers Art Nouveau Clever, Crate Paper Blue Hills Impression diecut shapes, American crafts Brown Vinyl Thickers & metal photo turns, a calligraphy pen nib, velvet ribbon, Kaiser Craft copper pearls, timber brown stazon inkpad & brown pen.
Siblings 1978: photo is of me and my brother (i'm the one with the scarve). there is a letter in the envelope.
supplies: K&Co Lifes Journey CD Envelope, K&Co lifes Journey Music paper, K&Co lifes Journey Stamp collage paper, Prima Flowers, Ribbon & Heart bauble, Tattered Angels Glimmer Chip, American crafts Brown Vinyl Thickers, Velvet ribbon and I used crop-a-dile to make the hole in envelope flap.
I think the envelopes are an awesome idea - esopecially for hidden journalling or keeping a DVD of photos or home movies on a layout (or in a mini album).

great los and i love what you did with the cd covers. By the way bar is blaming you for our computer breaking, because we were talking about yours :P :)
